Support Services is committed to providing a range of quality services that can support and assist you in your time at Macquarie University. They provide services to support and advise on life issues and living and studying at university, working out your career path, dealing with medical and health concerns (bulk-billed), managing with a disability, dealing with personal and emotional issues, improving your academic performance and study skills, managing your money, budgeting and information on student loans and finding a place to live and tenancy issues.
The Faculty of Business and Economics provides support to students. The best place to start investigating these services is the Business and Economics Student Services – commonly known as BESS which is a drop-in centre for students who are taking units in the Faculty of Business and Economics. It is located in Room 106, Building E4B. The Student Survival Guide and the Faculty Student Support section of the website also provides information and links to support services, both within the Faculty and across the University.
